Who We Are

What We Collect
If you use the contact form, we collect your name, phone number and, if you give them, your email address, postcode and message. If you call or email us, we see the number or address you contact us from and anything you tell us.
The postcode checker on this site works in your browser. The postcode you type is not sent to us or stored.
How We Use It
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, give you a price, and arrange and carry out the work or delivery you ask for. We do not sell your details or use them for marketing without asking you first.
Our lawful basis is to respond to your request and take steps before entering into a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in running our business.
Who Handles It for Us
Messages from the contact form are delivered to our inbox by Formspree, a form service that processes them on our behalf. Formspree is based in the United States, so your message may be stored there, with safeguards in place for transfers from the UK.
If you accept cookies, Google Analytics, run by Google, measures how the website is used on our behalf.
The website is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, it records basic technical details such as your IP address to keep the site running and secure.
How Long We Keep It
We keep your enquiry only for as long as we need it to deal with your request and any work that follows, and to meet our legal and accounting duties.
Your Rights
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to how we use them. Email info@crstankservicesltd.co.uk and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. This site keeps them to a minimum.
Needed for the site to work. We save your cookie choice in your browser so we do not ask you again. This does not track you.
Google Maps. Our maps come from Google Maps, and Google may set its own cookies when a map loads. Maps only load if you accept cookies, or if you choose to load a single map. You can read how Google uses this data at policies.google.com.
Fonts. Our text fonts load from Google Fonts. This does not set cookies, but Google receives your IP address so it can send the font files.
Google Analytics. If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used, including when someone taps our phone number or sends the contact form. It sets cookies such as _ga. If you reject cookies, Google Analytics runs without cookies and does not identify your browser. You can read more at policies.google.com.
We do not use advertising cookies.
